The Sheiling Ringwood is an independent, residential special school and college for students with severe and moderate learning difficulties and disabilities. We offer day and residential care within a beautiful environment where staff - whatever their job role - have the opportunity to make a real and positive difference.
Each year we provide a number of volunteer placements commencing at the end of August each year and lasting for a full 12 months. This provides an opportunity for successful candidates to live on site working alongside, and learning from, our highly experienced contracted staff, to develop the educational, social and personal skills of our students who have complex learning disabilities and special education needs.
We are now able to offer accommodation to our full-time Support Workers, on our woodland site, on a first-come, first-served basis. These are single rooms in furnished houses that are completely separate from our student houses. All-inclusive rent is from £300 to £400 per month, depending on room/location.
