Sheiling College provides quality care and education with a distinct ethos in a therapeutic community setting for young adults, aged 19-24 years old, with severe to moderate learning difficulties, including young adults with autism spectrum conditions.
The aim of the college is to provide a safe, inclusive and uplifting environment which meets the needs of the whole person. These goals are at the heart of our provision and their attainment is assisted by the beautiful natural setting of the College, and the 'intentional community' style of Camphill.
Sheiling College has a creative, hands-on curriculum and one-to-one therapeutic inputs. Learning experiences and opportunities are real-life based. Learning opportunities match students' interests, skills and aspirations, allowing learners to make choices about their learning with the intention of promoting independence and confidence for adult life.
