Department: College (students 19–25 years) 

Location: The Sheiling Ringwood 

Employment Type: Permanent 

Hours & Working Patterns: 20 hours per week, term time only (41 working weeks, including training days) 

Salary: £11,340 - £11,700 gross per annum (£12.35 to £12.75 per hour) 

Closing Date: Sunday the 5th of January 2025 

Interview Process: Tuesday the 14th of January 2025 (successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview, tour of our wonderful setting, and, of course, lunch. Please therefore expect to be here for approximately 3 hours)

We are seeking a motivated, passionate cook to join our College Education Team. The team is committed to providing the very best quality of education, care and support to young people, enabling them to reach their full potential. 

The role involves planning, preparing, cooking and presenting wholesome meals for between 15 and 25 College Day learners. The meals we serve are always nutritious, well-balanced, delicious, and predominantly organic. Strict adherence to Food Hygiene and Safety Regulations, and knowledge of catering for special dietary needs, are essential. 

We are looking for candidates who pride themselves on running an organised, clean, healthy, and welcoming kitchen – if you have Hospitality and Catering qualifications, and / or experience of working with people with Special Education Needs, even better!
